Public Speaking Branch 178 Royal Canadian Legion will be holding its annual Public Speaking in the Legion hall on . Sunday, February 17th for the Grades 4-8, registration at 12:30 p.m., and on Sunday, February 24th for Grades 7 -13, registration same time. I would like to see entries from the High Schools this year, the top prize at Provincial Provincial level is 500 dollars. The public is welcome to drop in and listen to these students speak. It may surprise surprise you with the range of topics they have. Anyone from the High Schools who wishes to enter if not through the school can do so by contacting me at 623-4573, all other students must be entered by their school. H. This week is proclaimed "Week of Prayer for Christian Unity." We sang beautiful hymns throughout the service. Pastor Joe, even though he had a terrible cold, did an excellent job as usual with the service. The children enjoyed his theme and talk for the "Children's Time." The choir sang a delightful anthem for their Ministry of Praise under the direction of Ulah Chambers.
