Some members are on the sick list - we trust they will soon be feeling much better. Business Reports were given of the successful District Tea, Craft and Bake sale held this past Tuesday in Làtcham Centre - and the results of the Fall Fair exhibit. Marjorie McCombe is the appointed appointed delegate to the 83rd Women's Institute Area Convention to be held in the Royal York Hotel, Nov. 5 and 6. Theme -"International Youth Year." Nestleton Presbyterian Church 140th Anniversary With a good number in attendance Rev. F. Swann conducted the first part of the service at 11 a m. with Mrs. G. Scott, organist. Hie song,. "The Door Is Always Open," written by the late Edward G. Lennard, was sung in unison, following the reading of Psalm 84. The guest speaker, Rev. Morley Mitchell accompanying himself on his guitar sang two solos - "Shepherd of Love" and "In His Time." Conducting Conducting the latter part of the service, Rev. Mitchell had a special prayer with the Sunday School as they went to classes. Preaching on the topic "Called into Contact," Rev. Mitchell spoke of his pastorage since leaving leaving Nestleton, Ballyduff and Millbrook, where he was student minister in 1969-1972. After being in Cochrane and Kapusleasing, Kapusleasing, and later in New Liskeard. They are now at Amberlee, near Pickering.
