Allison Morris, Tracey Michaud, Christine DKiely^ Jessica Knoop played strong' games at half back coming back defensively to help out and moving up on offense when needed. This kept the ' pressure on Pickering and enabled the forwards to keep the ball in their end. Sarah Couch with strong support from her fellow forwards, forwards, Robyn Dubeau, Alyssa McClennan, Janet Lange, Elizabeth Wunderlich, Koula Psorus and Desiree Flonk, scored both of Dennis' goals. This game was particularly impressive for the way Dennis' came back from a late in the game disaster! With only 30 seconds left in regulation regulation time and Dennis' leading 1-0, Bowmanville made an almost fatal mistake. The defense disappeared, leaving Jessica Knoop alone in goal to face 5 Pickering players, Jessica Jessica did a great job stopping 3 of their four shots. However, rather than giving Pickering the momentum for the two 10 minute overtime periods the opposite proved to be true with Sarah scoring early. Dennis' then played a perfect defensive defensive game for the remainder, of the time to secure the victory. Dennis' plays next on September September 17th against Pickering Bassett Jewellers, the winner of that game advancing to the finals on September 21st. Good luck Dennis'.
