The two teachers that help out and organize track and field are Mrs. Moffat and Mrs. Mills along with teachers from Grades three to six. For the first week they jogged, exercised and then ran. For the next week they will do the same thing and also learn some skills for track and field. Each student has to participate in five events but no more. This way it gives a fair opportunity to all the students. students. The only way a student could not participate would be if they had a note from the doctor. , The five field events are: high jump, running long jump, standing long jump, triple jump (boys only) and ball throw (girls only). The five track events are: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m. To do the 400m and 800m you should learn how to pace yourself.
