The three talented actors from our school were: Philip Plath, Tanya Highland, and Dan Walters. The workshop opened with a man telling a story to the whole group. They then split into smaller groups and all worked on different skits. At the end of a given period of time each group presented their skit while being videotaped. One of the skits showed all the phases of the moon and others involved chanting and opera. As well as coaching coaching in drama, the students received lessons in movement movement from a professional dancer. According to the students this workshop was an enjoyable enjoyable and worthwhile experience. experience. Bienvenue à Lockhart We would like to welcome our new French teacher, Mile Anderson. Local Teacher Makes "Wright" Choice By Aaron Staples Grade 4 Ms Borland was just married. married. She was married on the Saturday of Victoria Day weekend. So far it has been kind of hard to remember to call her Mrs. Wright, but we are coming along. People attending the wedding from our school were Mr. Stephens, Mrs. Ralfe and Mrs. Clark. Attending Attending the wedding dance were Mrs. Allin and Mrs. Staples. From what this reporter has seen of the wedding on video it was extremely long. One of the best things was that she has not changed a bit. I guess one good thing deserves another, Mrs. Wright is not taking her honeymoon until the end of the school year. Yay! In the interview she stated she felt rather emotional emotional before the ceremony. During the ceremony she stated she almost nervously said her husband's name, instead of her own. When asked about the funniest moment, she reminded me of the video revealing that the groom wiped off the wedding kiss. The bride and groom happily happily danced to Andante at the reception. When Tuesday Tuesday came we knew we had the "Wright" teacher.
