Obituary EVELYN ALLDREAD 111 four days, Evelyn Almeda May Alldread, aged 74, died in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville on Wednesday, April 8. Born in Euphrasia Township, Township, she was the daughter of Oliver and Edith Beckett. Educated in Saskatchewan, she was married June 8, 1949 to Lloyd Alldread, and had resided in Tyrone 41 years. She was a member of Tyrone United Church and of the Tyrone Senior Citizens' Club. She was interested in her home, family and friends. Surviving are her daughter Maxine Hendry, of Oshawa, and her sisters and brothers, Irene Groves, Vancouver; Henry Beckett, Stratford; Stanley Beckett, New Zealand; Greta Kronquist, Saskatchewan; Floyd Beckett, Enniskillen; Elsie Holdstock, Oshawa; John Beckett, Port Perry ; Jim Beckett, Manitoba; Dawson Beckett, Maple Grove; Jennie Lamb, Bailie- boro; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Arvilla Beckett. Funeral services were held on Friday at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville, with the Reverend McKinnell officiating. officiating. Tuesday. May 19 in the College's Dining Lounge. There were 29 graduates in the program which was held on a day release release basis--and it covers the basic, intermediate and advanced levels over a three year period. Owen Moran, Chairman of Skills Development, presented presented the graduates with their certificates. There was a special award for the top students in the two classes--Derek French and Jim LaForest.
