IP Report from Darlington Soccer Club The Darlington Oldtimer Soccer Club consists of former and present players of the Darlington Soccer League. The league is based in Pickering and consists of twelve clubs stretching from West Rouge to Cobourg, for any players over thirty years of age. The games are played on Sunday Sunday mornings at 10 AM with Darlington playing its home games at Darlington Arena. The schedule consists of 22 games beginning on May 24 and ending on November 18, with an Association Cup Tournament on September 13. Ika Vel Faut lent • (hi W*H By Len Leatherdale The Kingsway College Concert Band from Oshawa, under the direction of Mr. Lonn Horniachek, will present a sacred program on Saturday, May 30, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bowmanville Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at the corner of Highway No. 2 and Lamb's Road. The band has just recently returned from a ten-day Easter tour of the southeastern southeastern United States. Concerts Concerts were presented at the following stops on the tour; Highland View Academy in Hagerstown, Maryland; Winchester S.D.A. Church in Winchester, Virginia; Mount Pisgah Academy in Asheville, North Carolina; Mandarin S.D.A. Church in Jacksonville, Florida; Calhoun S.D.A. Church in Calhoun, Georgia; the Cleveland S.D.A. Church in Cleveland, Tennessee, where an appreciative church member gave the band $100. to be used for a special treat; and the final concert was given in the Knoxville S.D.A. Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. The band, which is pictured above, has also performed extensively throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada. A warm invitation is extended extended to our community friends to come to both to see and hear these young Christian musicians present a special sacred program which will be an inspiration to all.
