Les Jones 18 th, 1987. October 60 YEARS OF SERVICE TO CANADIANS stsssxM Something To Think About INSURANCE TRUST Each year, now, several billion dollars are paid by life Insurance companies lo beneficiaries - a large pari ol It In ready cash, outright, with no strings attached. You can guess what often happens. When anyone receives an unusually large amount of cash, there Is a strong temptation to begin spending It. Insurance Is a form of protection. Now think about protecting the protection. Instead of having your life Insurance proceeds paid outright to your wife, children, or others you wish to protect, you can have these funds paid directly to a bank or other Institution as TRUSTEE, under a life Insurance trust arrangement. It would be handled under your Instructions, with Income and principal distributed as you direct. A life Insurance trust Is a way to make sure your Insurance money lasts - without tying It up too closely for the best Interests of your family. It Is certainly an Idea worth thinking about.
