Game time is 7:30 p.m. No doubt the Eagles will be trying for a repeat of Sunday evening's performance. Trenton was in town on October 18 as a replacement team for the Port Hope Panthers who have withdrawn from the league. The score was 9-5 for Bowmanville. The 1987-88 Toro Pee- wees played their fourth exhibition exhibition game on Saturday October 17. Unfortunately it was a loss in a very chippy game. Final score was Oshawa Black Hawks 5, Toros Toros 4. The previous Saturday Saturday these same Toros were beaten 5-1 by the Millbrook Peewees in much the same type of game. Perhaps this column can be used as a reminder to the players that no team has ever won a game from the penalty box. The ten goals scored against the baby bulls have come as the result of Toros in the sin bin. Five of the eight while being two men short. As the coach has pointed pointed out, self dicipline just might be the answer. In the first two games of the season, Bowmanville beat Oshawa teams 4 to 0 and 5 to 3 respectively. This year's team has four minors on the club: Jason Jason Crosbie, Chad Vande- rende. Rich Bateman and Ja-' mie Doyle. The balance of the team are: Neil Bateman, Mr. Sub Doubles Oshawa On Saturday morining the.Mr. Sub Peewees opened their season with a 2-1 victory victory over the north Oshawa peewees. The Mr. Sub peewees peewees learned a lot about Bodily Contact from the bigger bigger Oshawa but worked hard and came away with the victory. Scoring for Mr. Sub were Ryan Becker and Adam Cota with assists going going to Chance Webb, Mike Hannah, Tim Hallowell and Mike Suess. This years Mr. Sub team consists of Sarah Couch, Adam Cota,Wayde Putnam, Ryan Becker, Jason Dragstra, Blair Ellis, Trevor Dalton, John Whittaker, Jason Jason Wichman, Chance Webb, Mike Hannah, Tim Mike Hannah, Tim Hallowell, Hallowell, Spencer Latin, and Mike Suess. The 'A & R' tykes began their season with a 2-0 victory victory over London Life at Bowmanville Bowmanville Arena. The game was the first for both teams and the players were anxious anxious to get this one under their belt. Suprisingly, both teams played positional hockey and credit has to be given to the London Life goalie who played superbly in defeat. The players on this year's roster are Jamie and Robbie Austin, Blake Avis worth, Mark Beitle, Chad Dickens, Stephen Ewles, Chad Li pop, Steven Marsh, Jamie McCarthy, Greg O'Leary, Jamie Potter, Craig Sabine, Richard Solomon, Jeff Schmyr, Ian Sinclair and An- drew Wraith.
