Robbie was born October 6,1986. OBITUARY (Miss Urata Rowe) A resident of Oshawa for many years, Miss Urata (Greta) Rowe died at Hillsdale Hillsdale Manor on Wednesday, October 7,1987. Born on September 30, 1891 in Darlington Township, Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Rowe of Salem community. ; Prior to her retirement, > Miss Rowe was employed ' for a number of years in the cafeteria of the Oshawa General Hospital. In the lateryears of her life she resided resided at 336 Kingsdale Ave., Oshawa, with her sister Miss Agatha Rowe who predeceased predeceased her. Two brothers, William and John Rowe, and sisters Mrs. Albert Gilders (Georgina), (Georgina), Mrs. Wilmot Wood (Myrtle) and Mrs. Thomas Bowden (Lillian) all died before her. Miss Rowe is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Thelma Black and Mrs. Evelyn Evelyn Young, both of Oshawa. Funeral services were held in the chapel at the Armstrong Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 1987 at 1 p.m. followed by interment in the family plot at Bethesda Cemetery. She showed a film and gave us some history of the Big Sister Organization- It was started in Toronto in 1914 and a local was established established in Oshawa in 1973. They are now of Newcastle, Oshawa and Whitby and there are 65 Agencies in Ontario. Ontario.
