The Canadian Ski Patrol System is a volunteer, charitable organization whose objective is to promote safe skiing and to assist injured skiers. The club is looking for interested skaters of all ages, from beginners on up the ladder. First place went to the Smurfs, second place to the Sleep team, third spot was captured by the Smiths, and fourth place was taken by the Carswells. The House Round of the Carling O'Keefe CBC Championships will be taking place on Saturday, October 31, at 4:00 p.m. at the Liberty Bowl. For the second year in a row they came away with a first place finish at the Darlington Darlington Family of School's Soccer Tournament held October 20 at M.J. Hobbs. The girls had no goals scored against them by the four other teams which included included Courtice, Enniskillen, Mitchell's Corners and Maple Grove. Ken's goal held up until early early in the third when John Rendell's quick shot found the bottom corner to give Nichols a two goal lead.
