He prepares the waitresses salad by making garnishes and vegetables. Mark makes the soup of the day, quiche, hamburgers, and apple pies. He can even whip up meals without a recipe. recipe. Mark makes portions of other meals. He cuts meat for other cooks. Once in a while he volunteers volunteers to run to the store if something runs out. Mark also does the dishes and other odd jobs around the kitchen. One thing he mentioned that he dislikes was, "Cutting onions is the worst thing. They are so strong, that you sit there with tears onyour face." The best part of his Co-op placement, Mark says is, The people here are very friendly and they're easy to get along with. If there is a ■oblem it gets settled easil he management is really problem it gets settled easily. The management is really understanding." _ Mark hopes to apply for a job at Kelsey's after his placement is done. He also plans to attend college for a cooking course." He says, "I can do a better job on meals that way." Steve's work consists of: preparing meals, checking off orders that come in, and cooking meals. "Another Co-op student would be great, having Mark in the morning and Shelly in afternoon is great. All the smaller jobs get done."
