Eagles to be in the 5-3 win over mp. Wei Sunday nigh rily " lgton Dukes on ght, the Eagles won only for the second time in seven games. The team has the same players and talent talent that allowed them to dominate the league in the first 23 games of the season, but their heart has changed. Some of the players are now being directed by fan applause applause instead of the team work that has and will bring victory to the Eagles. With Bowmanville down one goal in the first period, Steve Terry passed to Chris Dreossi who broke away and beat Wellington's goalie on his hot glove side. Bowmanville Bowmanville took a 3-1 lead out of the second period with goals from Brian Heard and Steve Terry. In the third period, that lead soon diappeared. By the mid-point of tne period, with Bowmanville going on the power play, Heard threw the puck into Wellington's net much to the delight of the crowd. Heard also received two minutes for unsportsmanlike unsportsmanlike conduct and nulled the power-play. This allowed allowed Wellington to score the tying goal. With a pass from Kelly Armstrong, George Pithie used his speed and a hard snap shot to place the Engles ahead to stay. Then with minutes left in tne game, and Bowmanville playing 4 on 3, Troy Foster passed out from behind the net to Armstrong. Kelly made the perfect pass across to Shawn Rekker whose quick shot beat Wellington's goalie. With just over two weeks left in the regular season, it is pretty well determined that Bowmanville will finish in first place. The schedule for Maple Grove W. I. The W.I. met in the C.E.
