Farmer - Resource Technician The Lindsay district office office of the Ministry of Natural Natural Resources is currently planting 600,000 trees on various parcels of private and public lands throughout the district. The bulk of these trees are pines and spruces and will help to establish roughly 650 more acres of forest in the district. , The Ministry is also participating participating in and supplying nursery stock for the Scouts Canada "Trees for Canada" days. This year, approximately approximately 75,000 trees will be planted by the cubs, scouts and beavers of the Lindsay Ministry of Natural Resources Resources district.
