Orange Lodges Hold Meeting In Trenton The Grand Lodges of the Orange Association in Eastern Eastern Ontario held their annual annual meetings in the Town of Trenton from April 20th through to April 23rd for very successful and well attended attended sessions. Obituary IMary Elizabeth Hooper A resident of Bowmanville Bowmanville all her married life, Mary Elizabeth Hooper, died in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, Bowmanville, on Saturday, April 16,1988, in her 79th year. Daughter of James and Elizabeth (West) Brown she was born in Scarborough and educated at Courtice, and Bowmanville High School. The wife of Frank Leighton Hooper, she had resided at 19 Ontario Street and for the last four years at 14 Brown Street. A member of the United Church she was a devoted wife and mother, and an ardent, ardent, sports.fan. Prior to her marriage she had been employed employed at Bell Telephone. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Frank, son Frank, daughters Ruth Eva, Picton, Elizabeth Ann, Port Hope, 13 grandchildren, 11 f reat grandchildren, and a rother Wilfred Brown, Oshawa. She was predeceased predeceased by a son James. Funeral services were held at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville Bowmanville with the Reverend Byron Byron Yates, officiating.
