Grant Following a short illness, Mary R. Grant, aged 83, died in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, April 13,1988. Born and educated in Sunnidale Twsp., she was' the daughter of the late James and Maude McQuay. She was married in 1926 to Alex Grant who predeceased her in 1985. A resident at 108 Liberty Street North, Bowmanville she had previously resided at 290 Scugog Street and was a member of St. Andrews Andrews Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her daughter daughter Shirley (Mrs. Ron Johnson) Johnson) a daughter-in-law Gloria Gloria Grant, son-in-law Ron Johnson, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters Mabel Morgan Morgan and Ivy Courtney. She was predeceased by her husband, husband, a son Jim, a brother Arnold and sister Bella. The Reverend Chatterton officiated at the funeral services services held on Friday at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville.
