Mike Garrow won two awards at the presentation, including most improved improved student and one for complying with the rules. The big winner of the evening was Elana D'andrede who picked up the Best Attendance Award, third place in tournament performance and second spot for complying complying with the rules. The play, relates to present day conflicts that parents and their teenagers experience day to day. A young girl and her boyfriend struggle to understand their own parents and realize through love that life is seldom seldom as simplistic as one might perceive; As the play starts out, Sarah Sarah and Peter are celebrating their daughter Veronica's 16th birthday party. They present her with a daughter's daughter's pride ring. It contains three birthstones. Veronica's in the middle, and her parents' parents' on either side. Veronica feels her mother is too strict, forcing her to wait until she is 16 to date. Veronica's boyfriend boyfriend Brent lives among irresponsible irresponsible parents. Brent receives his love and support from his grandmother.
