R. 1 Newtonville, and Glenn Curtis Curtis Jurgens, son of Beverley Jurgens, Pembroke, and the late Donald Jurgens, were united in marriage by the Reverend Douglas Krantz, Pembroke, on June 25,1988, at 3.30 p.m. in the garden of the bride's parents. The organist organist was Myrtle Kloster. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal formal gown designed with a high collar, open neck, a bo-' dice of wliite satin and lace, and sheer sleeves with white satin puffs. The train was of white satin with a white rose design design border, and she carried a bouquet of white roses, yellow yellow roses, white daisies, lily of the valley, ivy, white ribbon ribbon and pearl chain. The bridal attendants were Christina May, Port Hope, and bridesmaids Leslie Leslie Gardner, Newtonville and Sheree McLean, Port Hope. Best man was Kevin Jurgens, Jurgens, Pembroke, and the ushers Philip Jurgens, Pembroke Pembroke and Bill McLean, Port Hope. Receiving the guests at the dinner dance held at Bowmanville Canadian Legion Legion Hall, the bride's mother wore a cocktail length aqua dress, with a satin white design, design, and the groom's mother mother a blue cocktail length dress.
