As Christmas ouickly descends descends upon us let us remember remember "the reason for the team-mate Travis Laughlin's shot. Kyle Shackleton was also credited with an assist. For most of the game it looked like that goal would stand alone but late in the second period J&J slipped the puck past Hydro's goal tender, Jason Barr. During the third period, spectators were kept on the edges of their seats as the puck was worked back and forth from one net to the other, other, offering scoring opportunities opportunities for both teams. In spite of solid defense, J&J got the go ahead goal with only three minutes left in the game. In the last minute of play, Coach Rick Powell pulled the goalie to put an extra man forward, causing the spectators to become louder. However, J&J managed managed to score in the empty net. Although the team ended up with aloes, they certainly looked like winners. All players, regardless of ability, i contributed equally to the unified team effort. Well done team!
