An average number attended. Mrs. Beatty, Beatty, president, presided. The roll call was - What I turn to first in the newspaper. Motto - "Learn to disagree without being diagreeable". The minutes minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Mrs. McAllister and other folders were read. The cook-book printed by the F.W. I. C. was discussed and several or dered. Mrs. Beatty had a suggestion sent in by Mrs. Peacock that we might help the Sunday school with a one at Kendal last year. The meeting closed with O Canada. Canada. TM Alma Wagner giving Book Speech #4 "The Right Way To Take Medication" and TM Joe Christl giving an entertaining entertaining after-dinner speech from the advanced manual "The Art of Negotiation". TM Wagner received the Best Speaker trophy. As General Evaluator TM Marg Kropf called on her two evaluators TM Connie Nelson and TM Helen Bry- den to evaluate the speakers. TM Nelson was voted Best Evaluator. Bowmanville Toastmasters will also be holding elections on November November 22nd in preparation for a changing executive in the, new year.
