Bom and educated in Tyrone, Tyrone, and a resident of Orono Orono for 67 years she was the daughter of William and Annie Annie Virtue and was married March 28, 1922 to the late Harry Melville Mercer. Owner of a restaurant in Orono from 1943-1951 she was a member of Orono United Church and was made a life member of the church in 1980. A devoted homemaker and a friend to all, she was well respected in the community. community. Of special interest were her family, flowers and garden. Surviving are her family, Bruce, Cobourg, Ross, Orono, Orono, Greta (Mrs.H. Earl Sidney Trewin The death of Earl Sidney Trewin occurred Saturday, November 5th, 1988 at Memorial Memorial Hospital Bowman-' ville after a year of failing health. Earl was born January 15th, 1913 to the late Sidney John Trewin and Sarah Minerva Minerva Taylor Trewin. He had spent his lifetime farming farming the family farm at R.R. 1, Enniskillen taking pride in producing quality beef cattle and crops and helping his neighbours. He eiyoyea gardening. gardening. He was married on December December 19th, 1942 to Ruby Toms, Blackstock.He was a member of Enniskillen United United Church and Tyrone Senior Senior Citizens.
