Atom Selects Start New Season With OneWin and One Tie Novices See Action in Exhibition Games On Wednesday, November November 16, Jimmy's novice hockey hockey team played yet another exhibition game. This one took place at the Manvers Arena against their local novice novice club. Playing their usual penalty-free style, the team was able to control and dominate dominate the whole game. Expert goaltending by Joel Os borne, coupled with consistent consistent defense earned Jimmy's their first shutout of the year. The team must have thought that the period number number indicated the number of goals to be scored! Jeremy Sanders got goal number one in period one. Wade Worsley and Brian Ball added added a goal each in period two. Finally in the third period, Worsley, Sanders and Andrew Andrew Wraith each added a point to the scoreboard, bringing the final score to 6- 0. Assists were credited to Mark Ganhao and Derek Cummer. Finding themselves behind one goal for the first time this game, Hydro worked hard with a clear team efort and scored three successive goals! Kevin Martin earned ' one while Travis Laughlin got two. Assists go to Darryl Cook, Jason Geurts and Jamie Jamie Powell. In the last seconds seconds of the game, Grafton scored once more but were unable to take the win from Hydro. Final score was 5-4. In their seasonal house league schedule, Hydro competed against the Hutton &\UufUuf tfou ÇifÜ and QteetuUfA... was over, Hydro had managed managed only two goals while Hutton scored six. Hydro's first goal was scored by Darryl Darryl Cook who shot the puck so hard it went through the net! Assists go to Gary Munn and Jeff Crawford.
