EAGLES' NEXT GAME -- The Bowmanvillc Goodyear Junior C Eagles will play their next home game against Lindsay this Sunday evening (December 4) commencing at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, December 6, Port Perry will be in town for a game which commences at 8:30 p.m. at the Bowmanvillc Recreation Complex. Next Friday, December 9, Bowmanvillc will travel to Trenton for an 8:30 p.m. game. TOURNAMENT DATES -- The next tournament for the Bowmanvillc Recreation Hockey League takes place on Saturday, December 10, for the pee wees. This will be followed by a novice and atom tournament on January 28 and a tyke tournament on February 18. There will be a bantam house league tourney on March 4. Although the team came away with only a one goal deficit, having lost only one game, they were unable to reach the championship stage. Pitted against double ana triple A teams, Toros showed they have the talent to compete above their league. V & G Novices Down Bonded This week's V&G score read Bonded Paving 3, Mike McCrory 4. The goal tenders, Brandon Renton of Jimmy's and Jake Davis of the All-Canadians, need to be commended for their fine efforts that--kept both teams from scoring until until the last three minutes of the second period.
