Having sixteen years of experience in volleyball, Mr. Nobes has taken on the job of coach. With the help of Brandon Coyle, a student from Clarke High School, the team is able to practise on a regular basis. Skill drills that lead up to game situations are reinforced reinforced during these practice times. Volleyball is an excellent excellent game that can be played at any age by any sex if you enjoy team sports. Look for an update on how our girls' team is doing under the direction of Mrs. Gibson and Mr. Staples in next week's report. House League Floor Hockey The grade eight superteams superteams of 8D McLaughlin house literally crushed their opposition during the regular regular season. Now both teams (8D boys and 8D girls) have advanced to their finals in the Pines' playoffs after separate separate victories over other grade eight classes. Our grade 7 companions are not having the same success in their division but I'm sure both 7D teams will bounce back in true McLaughlin fashion.
