Victoria-Haliburton OTTAWA--Now that the Thirty Fourth Parliament of Canada has been called to session, I can again send out weekly Reports From Parliament Parliament to all the media in Vic- toria-Haliburton. First, I want to say a few words about the November 21st election. The period from October 1st to November November 21st was indeed a very hectic time. There was some confusion caused by the fact that two campaigns, munici- Sr pal and federal, were on at the same time. However, once that got sorted out, in my opinion, both elections were nard fought and fair! waged. I congratulate a' condidates who took part in both elections for their efforts. efforts. Their choice to serve is what makes democracy work. Most of all, I want to thank the residents of Victor- ia-Haliburton for their support support on November 21st. It will be my privilege and honour to represent you again for the next four years in the House of Commons. As always, both my constituency constituency office in Lindsay and my office on Parliament Hill will be pleased to serve you with any problems or suggestions suggestions you have. Mnnnoonmnt nnd Stall ol 623-2521 HUTTON TRANSPORT Waverley Ro«d South Bowmnnvlllo the Town of Newcastle who are crossing the streets to go to school, also erect school crossing signs on streets where there are no signs stating school crossing ahead such as in the area of Central Public School on Wellington Street. This should be looked at now before before a child going to school is killed by a careless bus driver driver or car driver. The Town should also look at fixing the boulevard on Elgin Street to allow for the number of buses pulling up at Central Public School as the Bus Loading zone is not large enough for all the buses there. Here's an old-fashioned way to wish you the best -- we hope your holidays abound with good cheer and good thingsl GARDEN AND FLORAL DESIGN CENTRE 59 King St. W. 623-5410 Bowmanville
