Peewee Selects Continue Winning Ways The I.O.O.F'. reewee Selects Selects continued their winning ways by winning two out of three games during the past week. On Wednesday, December December 14 the Selects met Oshawa O.C.H.L. Selects, at the Donevan Complex with Bowmanville skating away with a 2 tol win in a hard hitting, fast paced game. ' Scoring for Bowmanville was looked after by Kevin Colbourne from Mike Suess and Carlo Warr and Jason Wichman from Mike Talotti and Andrew Allair. On Saturday, December 17 the Selects had their first loss of the season to Ajax 4 to 1. The Peewee Selects learned you have to play three periods of hockey to win and turned their loss into a positive experience when they hit the ice Sunday morning against Oshawa Selects and played three periods periods of solid hard hitting and checking hockey and won the game 1-0 with 18 seconds to go with Mike Ta r lotti scoring from Jason Wichman and Carlo Warr with goaltender Sarah Couch picking up the shutout shutout On Saturday Bowman- ville's scoring against Ajax was Carlo Warr from Mike Suess and Scot McGregor. This brings the Selects' record to 10 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie in 12 games. Keep up the hard work and team play.
