Victoria-IIaliburton As I write this Report we are approaching the end of the debate on the Free Trade Bill and by the time it is published published no doubt the New Year will be upon us. Many challenges await Canadians in 1989. It is the privilege and task of our government to design policies policies which turn these challenges challenges into opportunities for us all. I know this will not be done without a lot of hard work, but then very few things worth doing are done without effort. Sometime early in the year, our government's front benches will take on a new face as the Prime Minister presents a new plan of action to the House of Commons for the next four years. It will be a follow through on the commitments made in the campaign and a continuation continuation of the successful directions directions we began in 1984. On behalf of the Government Government of Canada, I wish you and yours all a very healthy and Happy New Year. 1 * ' ' 1 £f p> **' - r 1 HE i B. § Bh i 11 wsm î îsë Hollingsworth-Shrum Wedding Wendy Shrum, daughter of William and Frances Shrum, R.
