Our guests included the new town mayor, Marie Hubbard. Hubbard. She is truly an inspiration inspiration to the women of Bowmanville. Bowmanville. Being in Guiding at one time herself, she can relate to the importance and the difficulties that the leaders leaders must face today. Much of the knowledge that was learned in her Guiding years is still remembered today. After the dinner, entertainment entertainment was provided. Members of the square dancing dancing group from the Base Line Community Centre showed the leaders how much fun it was to learn to square dance.- They volunteered volunteered to attend our evening and give us a little insight into the art of squaredancing. squaredancing.
