The two teams, namely A&R Flooring and McGregor's Hardware, played a fine game with A&R Flooring coming out on top with a 5-1 victory. 1st period saw end to end action with both teams displaying displaying fine hockey. At the 13:40 mark, Dave Griffin (9) and Jamie McCarthy (5) assisted assisted on a Blake Aylsworth (7) goal. Finally, on a slapshot by Peter Schoep and assisted by Jeff Hughes; the Truckers Truckers began to breathe new life into tneir offense. Their efforts efforts were rewarded when an all out assault resulted in Hutton scoring the winning goal. Peter Schoep flipped in the winner as he was ialling to the ice. With over three minutes left in the game, each Hutton player worked hard to maintain the lead and advance the team to the "A" final. In the "A" Championship game, Hutton Transport faced off against the Ontario Hydro Union team. The Hutton players thought they had it all won at the end of the first period when they were leading 4-1. But Ontario Ontario Hydro had lots of electricity electricity left and came back with two back-to-back goals in the second period to put them back in the game. Ontario Hydro evened the score five minutes into the third period on a short- handed goal and suddenly it was anybody's game with only ten minutes remaining.
