With the arrival of Monday came another, long-awaited Spirit Week with enjoyable activities activities planned for all students wishing to be involved. Students Council has been busy attempting to organize organize a fun-filled spirit week. However, due to last minute problems they were unable to inform anyone of the daily events planned past Monday which happens to be 'Stripe Day'. Plans we are aware of include "the biggest dance ever" on Friday, Friday, February 17th as well as a slave auction and carnation carnation sales for people to send to their sweethearts. Another big project in the works at B.H.S. is the Dance Marathon which is being organized organized by the music department. department. This annual event helps raise much-needed funds for various band competitions competitions and trips in which the music department's bands participate, This year's dance marathon takes place on Thursday, February February 23rd at 8:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February February 24th. Dancers must dance continuously, except during organized break times, in order for their time to count on their pledge sheets. This year, the senior band plans to go to New York City to compete and the junior band to London, Ontario. We wish them much success with this annual annual event. Jimmy's Novices Win Close One On Saturday, February 4, Jimmy's took to the ice knowing they would have to be at tneir best to defeat a determined Bonded Paving team.
