First 1 place winner was Adam Vivian speaking on "Life's Mysteries." Runner up was Jennifer Parsons speaking on "Sisters." The Judges were Elizabeth Peelers, Roy Turner and Sam Cawker. Adam Vivian will now move up to the second round on April 3rd, in Claremont. Congratulations! Caesarea Community Church A fine congregation was on hand on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. for the Caesarea Community Community Church, on a beautiful sunny winter day. The Service was conducted conducted by Rev, Dr. W.H. Crawford, and he delivered a splendid sermon, "Christ is not Divided," based on Scripture taken from 1st Corinthians 1-18 and 1st John 4:10-21, read by John Doucette. Holy Communion was observed with Dana Gibbons and Frank Arney assisting the Minister. A Special Easter Services Services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m, will be held with speaker Rev. and Mrs, Orm Bowman, Missionaries from Africa, with interesting slides to outline their work! Nestleton Presbyterian Church With bright, sunny skies, an average attendance at the Nestleton Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Mr. David Faulkner conducted conducted the service with Joyce Taylor attending at the organ. For the children's theme, a number of happy children giggling giggling and whispering enjoyed Norman Norman Seli's fine musical story in keeping with the happiness theme, before going to classes! "Love Impulsively" was the theme for Rev. Dale Davis' sermon, sermon, an inspiring message for all, preparing for our journey towards Easter. Closing hymn, "Let There Be Light." Family Concerns Delightful Sunday evening, March 5, guests with Neta Fish, Blackstock, were grandson Keith and Rhonda Bannister, Nicole and Krista of Peterborough. A lovely visit was enjoyed. It was a special day on Saturday Saturday last, when friend Marion Hail and cousin Elva Fluery, Brockviile, spent an hour or so visiting at the Cawker farm. Later, in the afternoon, another "highlight", when Curtis and Christine Cawker, Oshawa, dropped dropped in for a visit, and a catching up on the news over coffee! Sympathy Extended Our sympathy goes out to Muriel Thompson of Nestleton, and Annie Annie Bradbum of Port Perry, in the loss of their beloved sister Crystal Fallis, who passed away over the weekend. The public is invited to attend this ; special opening during the hours of 2-4 p.m. on April 2 to listen to Mr. Little's performance and to visit the' new rooms the museum will be opening this season.
