On Saturday evening two carloads of local citizens were present at the Annual Pork Producers Dinner, Meeting and Dance of the Northumberland Producers held at the Community Center Center in Roseneath. As per usual a delicious roast pork dinner with accessories to match was served to a capacity capacity crowd. Following the dinner the business of the annual meeting meeting was conducted with humour humour and efficiency. Dignitaries from outside the County were recognized and introduced to the gathering. gathering. Numerous door prizes donated by local business as well as several cooked hams were distributed as door prizes. We were. fortunate to win one of these hams on the very last draw of the evening, so will be living high on the hog this week. Excellent music by thè Shiloh Shiloh band was enjoyed for the dance that followed. A full dance floor was a tribute to the popularity of the band.
