She opened the meeting with - "Fathers are Wonderful Wonderful People." Secretary's report was read and approved. Treasurer's report was encouraging. Roll Call was answered by each one submitting a recipe for our new cookbook we will soon have printed. Our Family Bowling evening evening was reported on 8 lanes and a good time. ' Correspondence was read. A Thank you from Ruby Trewin who has moved to Bowmanville and she brought the gifts so we could all see them. A thank you from Roy and Lorna Graham who have moved. A letter was read from the Town of Newcastle received received by W. Blackburn stating stating our grant has been approved. approved. Our July 1st Salad Supper Supper planning took up the remaining remaining time. Wendy B will look after the quilt tickets for our raffle raffle quilt as soon as Lynn R. gets the licence. Jan M will make up the tickets for our supper. Blanche J. to advertise in . the papers the particulars of the supper for three weeks. Dorie C. will sell quilt tickets on July 1st. Barb W. filled in nicely by already having lists for each lady for the supper contributions contributions which she offered to change where necessary. This year there will be three sittings instead of four with a small price increase for adults.
