Located near the north-west corner of Garrard Garrard Road just north of Con- lin, we enjoy 67 acres of Durham Region's countryside. countryside. Our old time family fair has ample parking for all, with plenty of events to attract both young and old alike. There will be magic shows, Dale Page and his old fashioned Calliope, Puffy the Clown and Mo Vint on his locomotive with music and magic. The kids will love it! Weall & Cullen are providing a wedding display this year. The show will enhance enhance our antique buggy & carriage display to be held in the same tent, so don't miss it! Don't forget Tommy Anderson Anderson and nis Lime Ridge Old Tfyme Fiddlers will be entertaining us on Sunday afternoon. The Bavarian Garden music will be especially especially exciting this year - Two for the Road, a live country and variety band will play on Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday afternoon. Saturday night will feature a live 3 piece band as well, so bring in your requests.You will be thrilled with both these groups and they have come to us highly recommended. By the way, our Baby Show convenor, Barb Mac- Duff has informed us that due to its popularity, this event has doubled in size. If you know anyone with a baby, twins or triplets, born during 1988 or 89, please have them call Barb at 430- 2026. We are known as a family fair. They are shown at the store entrance, but Steve is inside looking after the customers who came to the opening. Many friends called to wish them much success. 59 Attend Family Picnic LlIIiUJLLL Sunday, June 11, 1989, was a beautiful day for the 20th Annual Rundle Family Picnic. Following tradition, the picnic was held at the lovely grounds of Albert and Irene Bundle's Christmas Tree Farm near Centerton, Ontario. 59 family members attended the occasion and all enjoyed a fun-filled day of visiting and swimming, and an afternoon of lively games and races coordinated coordinated by this year's sports committee, Brian Fraser and Don Rowan. : The picnic wouldn't have been complete without the usual delicious assortment of dinner items and tempting tempting desserts. Following the meal all gathered around Al bert Rundle for the 'business' 'business' portion of the picnic. All unanimously agreed to meet again next year; same time, same place. Janet Fraser read the minutes from last year's picnic.
