Mr. S. Mastrangclo, sponsored the Mosquito tcam.-Checkers Variety was the sponsor of the Atom team; D & R Sports sponsored the Pee Wees and Shoppers Drug Mart sponsored the Bantams. Trophies were donated by the Bowmanville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. A total of 64 players joined the Bowmanville United Soccer teams that year. Eagles Scalp Lakefield Chiefs 11-5 BIG BROTHERS SAY THANKS -- A total of $507.60 was raised on September 16th, during the annual Big Brothers Sports Swap. They capitalized on four power plays and one short- handed situation. Esso Atoms Win a Pair Saturday, October 14th marked the opening of another another house league hockey season at the Sports Complex, Complex, with the 401 Esso Atoms Atoms taking on T-Mac in the first atom game. 401-6 T-Mac 3 These two teams put on a great game from the spectators spectators and coaches point of view. Some poor defensive plays by the Sub boys allowed the McRobbie team to pick up the next 3 goals of the game. Robbie Watson tied up the game with Darren Allin getting the assist.
