The $15 million, 92,000 square-foot, department store is located in an ultramodern ultramodern addition built onto the southeast side of the Oshawa Centre. Mr. Wilde said at the grand opening. "I'm really going to like it here." To commemorate the opening, Campeau Canada' President, Paul Campbell, presented a cheque for $3,500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Helen Gormley, vice president of the Durham Durham Chapter, accepted the donation. Campeau Canada made the contribution in support of Zellers' corporate commitment commitment to raise funds for Cystic Cystic Fibrosis. In the last year Zellers donated over $750,000 to Cystic Fibrosis Foundations across Canada. The opening of the new Zellers marks the completion completion of the first phase of the $100 million Oshawa Centre expansion . program launched by Campeau Canada Canada in November 1988. The generous cheque will go a long way in helping the United Way reach its 1990 campaign goal of $2.9 mil- lion. The plaque read: "Presented to Goodyear Canada Inc., Bowmanville Plant, 1990 United Way Most Valuable Valuable Player, Industrial Division."
