During his term of ministry here, Reverend Lee and his family will reside in Middleville, Lanark. The Reverend T. Edwin Hancock, a minister of the United Church of Canada, and to- this date the only Candidate for Ministry from Newcastle United Church, passed away at his home on- November 22. The County Town Singers Singers Concert, sponsored by Sigma Beta Phi Sorority, and held at the Newcastle United Church was thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed on Sunday evening. At eight o'clock Holy Communion was celebrated. At the eleven o'clock service service there was blessing of a new Advent Wreath and stand, a missal stand for the side altar and two purple Alms Bags. The Advent Wreath and Stands were presented by me tamilies in memory of Alfred Gray. The Alms Bags, in memory of Doreen Lake, were given by Doris Prust.
