Allen (Al) Beech was a clinical psychologist and president of a career consulting consulting firm that helped displaced displaced executives find jobs. The Toronto resident was founder and president of Drake Beam Morin-Canada Inc. and Beech & Partners . Ltd. He died of a brain tumor recently in Providence Villa Hospital at the age of 53. Mr. Beech was a specialist specialist in career adjustment, developing developing programs for executives executives whose services were no longer required. Re-employment assistance assistance programs developed by his firm often helped these executives find work quickly, reducing the pain and stress of job loss. Mr. Beech was bom in Bowmanville, the son of a United Church minister, Reverend Eugene Beech. He graduated from the University University of Toronto with a Master's Master's Degree in psychology and a degree in theology. He began his business consulting career in 1966 with Urwin, Currie & Partners Partners (now Coopers & Ly- brand Consulting Group). He worked for nine years for Stevenson & Kellogg (now Peat Marwick Stevenson & Kellogg) before starting his own firm. He leaves his wife, Lorraine, Lorraine, three children, Lisa, Jeffrey and Stephen, his mother, Evelyn Beech, and two brothers, Larry and Dennis. A memorial service was held at Parkwoods United Church in Don Mills. Several from this area attended attended the funeral. ELLA WATSON TAYLOR The death of Ella Watson Taylor, occurred on Thursday, Thursday, February 22, 1990, at her home. in Scarborough. She was in her 67th year. Daughter of the late Edward Edward and Annie Millson she was bom in Bowmanville, and educated at Baker's School, O'Neill Collegiate, Oshawa, and Shaws Business Business School. Employed as a secretary. Personnel Associate, by Eli Lilly, Canada, Scarborough, for many years, she retired in 1985. A member of Eldad Church, she was a devoted homemaker and loved helping helping her many friends and family. She enjoyed gardening gardening and flowers and will be remembered lovingly by all who knew her. Left to mourn her passing passing are her daughter Sandra Sommer, son-in-law Werner, and two grandchildren, brothers and sisters, George, Verna Anthes, Eber, Jerry, and Stanley, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased predeceased by a sister and a brother, Doris and Howard. Funeral services were held at the Armstrong Funeral Funeral Home, Oshawa, on Saturday, with the Reverend Reverend D. Warren of Eldad United Church officiating. The eulogy was given by her oldest brother George. Pallbearers were Messrs Glenn, Grant and Jim Mill- son, Neil and David Anthes and only grandson, Gregory Sommer. Following the service refreshments refreshments were served at the home of Glenn Millson, to family and friends. Many floral tokens were received in her memory as well as donations to Eldad United Church. Donations at her request in lieu of flowers, flowers, to Eldad United Church would be appreciated. McDonald passed away suddenly on February 4, 1990, at Oshawa General Hospital. Son of Almyra Hnggith and Donald McDonald, he was born on May 5th 1908 in Bowmanville, Ontario. Archie was educated at Bowmanville Central Public School ' and Bowmanville High School. After graduation graduation he started to work nt Radio Station CKGVV in September September 1928. Later on he went to C.B.C. in Toronto and worked his way up to the Radio Engineering Department Department and continued with the corporation until his retirement in September 1973. Since then ho greatly enjoyed enjoyed the outdoor life nt our tourist enmn in Mnzinnw Lake, including water skiing, skiing, fishing, hunting and visiting visiting with our guests. He was also a member of the Amateur Radio Club for many years. Ho was a long time member member of the Jerusalem Masonic Masonic Lodge in Bowmanville. Surviving arc his wifo Dorothy, son Bruco and daughter-in-law Debornli. Funeral service was hold nt Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, February 8lh with tho Reverend Frank Locklmrt olliciating. Pallbearers were Cecil Armstrong, Kenneth Hooper, Hooper, Forncomb Lo Grosloy, Morv Curley, Thomas Flynn and John Bonnotla, Interment Interment was at Bowmanville Cemetery.
