The funding will be used over a two-year period to assist in the development of licensed child care in designated designated new schools built in Durham, Northumberland, Peterborough, Victoria and Haliburton. Mr. Furlong said that community development consultants employed by the Early Learning Centre will help set up new non-profit child care centres, assist newly established boards of directors to prepare for licensing, licensing, and act as a resource resource for the boards as well as the ministry.
