Crimestoppers Requests Your Help Crime Stoppers and Durham Durham Regional Police are again asking for the Public's help in solving a Robbery which occurred in Oshawa on March 29th. At about 9:45 p.m. a man was driving in the rear parking parking lot of Hy & Zeis at Rit- son and Taunton Road when a man approached his vehicle vehicle motioning him to stop. The driver did so and the pedestrian pedestrian told him that he was a Police' Officer and to get out of the vehicle. The suspect then got into the driver's seat and told the owner to get into the passengers passengers side. The suspect demanded the victims wallet and took cash from it, He also took the car keys and a ring from his finger. At this point the victim demanded his property back and both men got out of the vehicle. A struggle ensued and eventually the victim managed to get his ring and keys back but the suspect kept the cash. The victim then drove away with the suspects jacket jacket and hat. The Bandit is described as a white male in his early 20's, about 5'6" in height and medium build. He was wearing black jeans, white t- shirt, a black bomber style leather jacket and a black corduroy hat. During the struggle, the Bandit left the hat and jacket jacket behind.
