Mercer had Mr. and Mrs. J. Fajt, Steven and.Denise and fami ly last Sunday for evening dinner. Mr. and Mrs. E. Fowler attended the steam show at Campbellford on Saturday. Mrs. Westheuser and girls spent two days at St. Catharines Catharines this week getting a boarding place for Alyson who attends Brock University University in September. Mr. and Mrs. J. Peacock, Mary Frew and Irene Beatty spent Sunday with Steven and Christy Peacock at Belleville. Mrs. Doris Gunby and Andrew spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Irene Beatty. The Women's Institute with a craft show at Dorothy's House August 18 and 19. We hope to see a good number there. The first Institute meeting meeting of the fall will be held at Tmckson's, Beryl Dekoker speaking or with slides. Mr. and Mrs. E. Fowler have been at their houseboat houseboat this week. Howard and Vivian Quantrill spent a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. E. Elliott at their cottage at Lake Scugog last week. Suzanne and Bend were with me Sunday afternoon and I went over to Suzanne's Suzanne's for supper on Sunday. Sunday. Mae Muldrew had tea with Edith Carruthers Friday Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J.
