Phone Christie 987-5626. 34-1 SN Crimestoppers Crime Stoppers and Durham Durham Regional Police are ap- ip- pealing for the public's help in solving a number of thefts and Break and Enters which have occurred at Roy Nichols Nichols Motors in Courtice over the past eighteen months. During this time period, there have been three Break and Enters and over a dozen separate incidents of theft at this auto dealership. During the thefts, damage has also been done. Between February 10 and 12, 1990, a $37,000 custom van was stolen. It was later recovered but was missing some of the customized parts. On July 11, shortly after 1 a.m., three suspects were seen on the lot. After walking walking around the lot for a few minutes they were seen working on a 1986 Camaro. Shortly after, the car was driven away. This was recorded recorded by a security camera on the premises. The car was later found on King Street West in Oshawa with a set of plates stolen from the same dealership. The suspects are described described as two .males' and one female and are between 17 and 20 years old. A re-enactment of this car theft will be shown on CITY TV, Channel 57, Cable 7, on Thursday, August August 23 during the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news. It will also be shown on CHEX TV and CKVR TV on Friday, August 24 during the news ana over the weekend.
