Hope Hospitatl with double pneumonia following his accident. Mr. Gary Morris spent last week in Port Hope Hospital Hospital regulating diabetes. Ron Mercer was rushed to the hospital one night recently recently with ulcer trouble. Mrs. Clarence Mercer and Miss Edith Carruthers spent five days on a Penn- slyvannia Amish-Dutch tour , and reported an excellent time. Mr. and Mrs. B. Burton and boys, Mr. and Mrs. J. Yarema and family, and Mrs. Irene Beatty returned home from a tour to Prince Edward Island and returned through Vermont, U.S.A. They went in two five-' wheelers and camped at var- 6 ious camping grounds. They i. had a nice time with little trouble. Mr. and Mrs. J. Van de ■ Wall have his brother and wife visiting from New Jersey, Jersey, U.S.A., Chris and Joyce Van de Wall. Mr. and Mrs. M. Walker took in the Blackstock Fair over the weekend and showed their cattle and won the Grand Campion female; Reserved Champion female and Reserve Champion male. Mr. and Mrs. J. Peacock had Christy and Steven and little Aaron on the weekend. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Romney, Ottawa, Ingrid's Ingrid's parents over night and Shane and Sophia Knei- sel also. Mrs. Mae Muldrew has tea Sunday with the McIntosh McIntosh family. Mr. and Mrs. P. Finnie held a week-end celebration celebrating their daughter Brenda's new job. She' works for a company in Toronto and has been sales manager for some time and has now been promoted and will be spending a year in Alberta, She will have a car and will be in Edmonton six months and in Calgary for a while. Also she will spend some time in Vancouver and other cities in B.C. We wish her the best in her new position. Mrs. June Moore spent part of Monday and Tuesday with me. While here she took Suzanne, Alyson, Lesley Lesley and myself out for dinner dinner Monday evening celebrating celebrating Suzanne's birthday. After we went' to Suzanne s where June took pictures with a new type of camera and right after she showed the pictures on television through the V.C.R. A veiy interesting experience and many laughs. She had several several other pictures she had taken at home. Suzanne and Beryl were here on Thursday. Charley Finnie was involved involved in a car accident on 115 near Peterborough last week.
