Young Angela lay awake thinking of Santa Claus. Suddenly, Angela heard a loud clattering sound. Angela Angela ran to the window and she peeked out. She saw eight tiny reindeer pulling a sleigh full of toys. In the sleigh she saw something that caught her eye! It was Santa Claus! Angela jumped into her bed and pretended to sleep. In the morning, Angela ran downstairs, downstairs, into the kitchen, and yelled, " Mommy, Mommy, I saw Santa Claus! "Oh really?", said her mother. Angela asked if she could open her presents and her Mom said, "No. honey. It is too early and besides your brother isn't awake yet." Angela kicked up a fuss and her Mom said that she could open her presents. Angela went into the liv- ingroom and opened her present. But, at that moment, moment, she realized that she was being very greedy and there were lots of children who could not have what she could have. So, Angela decided to go for a visit to the orphanage. Angela told her Mom her plan and off she went. When she got there, she started giving away all her Christmas toys to the or- E hans! She gave a doll to risa, earrings to Andrea, a dinosaur book to Adam, a toy car to Tommy and Gnostbuster to Mathew. She soon ran out of toys to give. Angela heard a voice say, "Do I get a toy?" It was little Meghan. Oh no, I have no more toys to give. So what can I give to Meghan, Angela thought. Angela bent down and said, "I have ho more presents to give, Meghan. But I do nave something to give to you." "What is it?", Meghan asked. . "I can give you a friend," ^h^How?', îleghan asked, "How can you give me a friend?" "I will be your friend, Meghan, Meghan, * Angela answered.
