General General U.C.W. meeting is planned for March 21. Several Several dinners coming in the near future, and Milk Producers Producers banquet this week, Wed. Jan. 30 in the Main Hall at noon. World Day of Prayer is planned for March 1st in our church at 7:30 p.m. and all community ladies are invited, invited, from St. Saviours and Kirby churches. Spring Presbyterial is March 5 in Port Perry United United Church commencing 9:00 a.m. with speaker on "World Outreach". Mr. and Mrs. Terry Weeks and family welcomed at doors Sunday morning. The sousaphone Claude is playing was the largest of the instruments that the versatile versatile performer used to educate and entertain his audience. The performance by Claude and His Family of Tubas included the telling of the familiar children's story story called "The Emperor's New Clothes" and a demonstration of how to play the bass part on a tuba while humming the melody at the same time. In addition to his solo and orchestral work, Mr. Engli is a teacher at the University of Toronto and at the University of Western Ontario. The next show in the Community Cushion Concert Concert Series will be February 16. Sandra Beech will bé performing at that time.
