President Bill urged the members to reach for 100% attendance during the month of April. Dr. Joe Pinto told the Club that the first of the trees will be available for planting on April 20. Nine thousand seedlings will be planted by the Hampton Boy Scouts at a date yet to be fixed. A further 8000 will be available in early May and will be planted by local students students in the Long Sault Conservation Conservation Area. The trees are a mixture of poplar, silver maple, white pine, red pine and spruce and will require 360 man-hours to plant. The Central Lake Ontario Conservation Conservation Authority is providing providing the the first- 9000 trees to be planted, which the Rotary Club purchased.
