Ken Bragg of Bowmanville was a visitor Town Seeks Tight Rules To Control Demolition Contractors Messy demolition contractors contractors and developers should clean up their act. That's the view of the municipality's general purpose purpose and administration committee which has asked for tighter rules governing demolition of buildings ana sites awaiting development. At a meeting Monday, Newcastle Mayor Marie Hubbard asked town staff to consider developing a policy which will regulate demolition demolition in the municipality. "I think we should be very stringent on who demolishes demolishes what in the Town of Newcastle," Mayor Hubbard Hubbard said. The possibility of requiring the licencing of such contractors was also raised.
