Chairman to Be Named for GO Transit GO Transit Chairman Lou Parsons is expected to be named chairman of the American Public Transit Association Association (APTA) when it stages its annual meeting in Toronto this fall. Parsons received the nod from APTA's nominating committee when it met in Chicago this week. The 3.000 delegates to the annual annual meeting are expected to acclaim him to the post. This will mark the first time a Canadian had led the international transit group, which represents more than 1.000 mass transit systems and related businesses across North America.
