< 10 The Canadian Statesman, Bowman ville, Wednesday, September 4,1991 Neighbours Hold Successful Street Party On Saturday, August' 24th, 1991, the 1st annual street party, organized by Cindy Persico and committee, involving the residents of Orchard Park Drive, Peachtree Crescent, Royal Pines and Strathmanor Drive was a great success; The day began with à bike parade for thé children, followed by several games for all age groups and in the evening a BBQ and dance. Throughout thé day, ; clown face painting was available to the children who received ribbons for games. Everyone was given a gift, most of which were donated by about 30 local business establishments establishments who are congratulated and thanked for their generosity. Music was provided provided by Steve Swallow and a great time was had by all.
