Meeting Held The general meeting of the Nestleton U.C.W. was held in the church, September 12, with president Arlene Malcolm in th chair. She welcomed members and guests, and read a poem entitled, "Ordinary Folks" from Country Preacher's notebook. notebook. (Arlene turned the meeting over to leader Mabel Cawker). The inspirational devotional was presented by Anita Davis entitled "Covenant" (The promise of God to bless those who obey Him). The scripture was read by Bernice Mairs and taken from Genesis 9-8-15 Exodus Exodus 19-5 and Mark 14-24. Anita closed with a hymn and prayer. Gwen Malcolm played for the hymn. A short program consisted of instrumentals. Lawrence Malcolm played his "Keyboard" "Keyboard" beautifully - first he gave a rendition of "Memories" "Memories" and then he played a ■ lively tune we all loved "Give My Regards To Broadway." Applause greeted him at the close. Heather Malcolm (a Grade eight student in music) played Memories and Presto from Grade eight conservatory. A very good performance for Heather with those difficult numbers. Guest speaker Marilyn Wallace Wallace was introduced by Mabel Cawker.
